Coriolis II as shown while downbound on the St. Lawrence River off Varennes on July 27, 2009. She was built in 1991 as the Canadian Coast Guard survey ship John Jacobsen and was sold to UQR in 2001 and converted to her present role by Davie Shipbuilding.
