Saginaw
Saginaw - Approaches to Marquette, Michigan, USA - April 7, 2003

Saginaw was one of three ships being escorted into Marquette, Michigan by CCGS Samuel Risley to open the 2003 shipping season. The Samuel Risley had first to prepare a track through the ice into the port and then assist the ships through the ice. Of course, the ice melted after a few weeks and the water stayed ice-free until late in the year.
