Description
The last ship built in the River Rouge shipyard of the Great Lakes Engineering Works, Dearborn, Michigan.

Laid up Oct 4, 1980, after the steel mill in Lackawana, New York closed. This mill was the only one that had shore side unloading equipment and the lack of self-unloader made the ship expendable. The ship was sold for scrap in 1986.
