Description
PONTE PEDRIDO and her sister PONTE PASAJE were both laid up at Gijon, Spain (6 August 1983 and 5 October 1983 respectively) for unknown reasons. At the time the ships were only 5 years old. By 1985 they had both been retired and sold for scrapping. PONTE PEDRIDO arrived at Algeciras on 30 October 1985 while PONTE PASAJE arrived at Algeciras 10 days earlier on 20 October 1985. The reason the ships were scrapped at such a young age is unknown.
