Description
On 19 July 1981 while she was on a voyage from Hampton Roads, Virginia, USA for Reykjavik, Iceland she was in a collision with the 1967-built general cargo ship CHARM. The following day she succumbed to the damage she sustained in the collision and sank east of Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, Canada in a position 46.15N/59.54W. Salvage was not attempted.
