23 December 1981 - FORT CHAMBLY laid up for the last time at Ojibway, Ontario
6 December 1988 - While in layup at Ojibway, arsonists set fire to the ship's accommodations and she was completely gutted as a result
14 July 1989 - Departed Ojibway under tow of the tugs ARGUE MARTIN and LAC MANITOBA
9 August 1989 - Departed Sorel, Quebec with her former fleetmate NIPIGON BAY behind the deep sea tug FAIRPLAY IX bound for Aliaga, Turkey
