| The Ocean Uannaq capsized and sunk on April 1, 2016, while attempting to move an excavation barge (along with the Ocean Catatug 1 and the Blizzard Polaire), during the construction of the new Champlain Bridge in Montreal, Quebec. The tug was raised on May 28th and declared a total loss. The tug was subsequently restored in Quebec City and re-entered service. |
